An illustrator, maker & artist. A student of life & a lover of nature.

Born in Germany and raised in Spain, I’ve found a home in the southwest of Ireland.

My work brings a cross-cultural sensibility, which centres on storytelling, nature, and the emotional landscape of childhood. I studied Printmaking at Limerick School of Art and Design before transitioning into illustration, a path I’ve largely shaped through years of self-teaching, practice, and personal projects.

Crayons, colours, paper, and pencils were my first love—anything that invited my hands and imagination to shape the world. Today, I create hand-painted illustrations using watercolours, gouache, paper scraps, inks, and coloured pencils. My work blends gentle textures with poetic detail, opening gateways into enchanted worlds that explore memory, belonging, transformation, and our connection to the natural world.

Alongside my own books, The Nest (2022) and W I L D (2022), I regularly illustrate for local and international publications. My work has been exhibited locally and is held in private collections in Ireland and abroad. I am a certified TAP+ facilitator, an associate artist with Helium Arts and Martin Keaveney Creative Writing School, and a member of the Cork County Council Library and Arts Facilitator Panel.

Deeply committed to the power of creativity, I’ve worked widely in educational and community settings across Cork, leading workshops that invite children and adults to create from a place of imagination and emotional truth. Happiest by a stream, in the garden, or with my feet in the sand, I draw inspiration from the rhythms of nature as much as from the stories of those around me.

Luna’s work is a beautiful adventure into magical lands, inhabited by colourful flowers & trees that carries the perfume of childhood & the songs of woman empowerment

For me, Luna’s illustrations are very calming, they make me feel safe. It takes a lot of skill to create illustrations that bring up such lovely emotions.
